Q.     What is easyACCOUNTING? 

A.      easyACCOUNTING is a comprehensive, fully integrated, easy-to-use Real Estate Brokerage financial management system with an over twenty-five year track record.  It gives you the ability to do complex tasks with point-and-click simplicity. 

easyACCOUNTING is designed for any size Canadian Real Estate Brokerage from the smallest to the largest.

  

Q.     How does easyACCOUNTING compare to other accounting programs? 

A.      easyACCOUNTING was designed from the ground up as a comprehensive integrated product to meet the complete and unique needs of Real Estate brokerages in Canada.  It wasn’t adapted from a foreign system or as a tacked on “module” to a generic product. 

         It is almost a forgone conclusion that any accounting package will do the standard bookkeeping tasks such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable and so on, but for a real estate brokerage, that isn’t enough.

         Products such as QuickBooks and Peachtree have several features in common with easyACCOUNTING such as Accounts Payable and General Ledger, but they simply don’t have what it takes to properly and efficiently operate a real estate brokerage.  Without the features that make easyACCOUNTING distinctive, many tasks required of a real estate brokerage must be handled manually.

Q.     Why is easyACCOUNTING right for me?

A.     The system requirements are:

  • Window 2003, 2008, XP, Vista or Windows 7

  • 10MB free Hard Disk space

Q.     Can I migrate my existing accounting information into easyACCOUNTING?

A.     Yes – the step-by-step process makes it quick and easy.

 

Q.     Do I have to migrate my existing information right away?

A.      If you have existing financial information to transfer, you can do it immediately or whenever time permits – i.e. deal with today’s business now, and enter yesterday’s business later.

 

Q.     Will Reagency co-operate with my accountant?

A.     Absolutely.  Reagency is in the business of providing a top notch software product to make your accountant’s job easier and we are happy to work with an accountant of your choosing.

 

Q.     How much does easyACCOUNTING cost?

A.     Four editions are available depending on the size and needs of your company:

  • Profession Edition for a single branch, single user system: $899.

  • Network Edition for a single branch, multi-user system: $1,499.

  • Multi-Branch Edition for a multiple branch, single-user system: $1,499.

  • Enterprise Edition for a multiple branch, multi-user system: $1,999.

 

Q.     How much are updates?

A.      Updates typically cost about $200 and are issued once a year in December unless there is a legislative change that requires an update mid-year.

 

Q.     Is an annual support contract required?

A.      No annual fee is required in order to access any of our support resources or obtain service packs.

 

Q.     Is their a private password protected support site?

A.      Free electronic support is available on our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our support site is neither hidden nor password protected.

 

Q.     How much does support cost?

A.      We stand behind what we sell - electronic support for current products is always free.   All questions are answered within 24 hours, but usually within just one or two.  Telephone support is available direct from a product expert at Reagency and not a third party service bureau located overseas.

 

Q.     Do you charge for service packs?

A.      Nobody’s perfect, but you shouldn’t have to pay for our mistakes.  All interim service packs are free and may be downloaded from our website.

 

Q.     Is easyACCOUNTING easy to install?

A.      easyACCOUNTING is designed to be installed in minutes by regular people without the need of computer technicians or accounting experts.  A step-by-step quick start checklist and comprehensive user’s guide written in plain English help you get up and running quickly.  The self-explanatory screens and extensive use of familiar real estate terminology instead of cryptic accounting terminology or computer technobabble makes easyACCOUNTING easy to learn and use right out of the box.
